The way we treat and view the environment heavily impacts the way we live and work. Therefore, we feel it’s important to share the responsibility of sustaining our planet.
Premier Print UK have made it our mission to source and offer products in an environmentally conscious way. Therefore, we’ve highlighted the key areas below, illustrating the controls we’ve implemented to ensure not only that our end products have minimal impact to the environment, but also the way we operate on our site.
We use 100% recycled paper for our Bond, Pulp, Kraft and offset products. For coated paper (including Silk and Gloss), we use a paper that is 55% recycled. This is a fantastic, environmentally friendly alternative when no cost-effective, 100% recycled, coated paper is available today.
Please allow up to a 10% variation in colour. If you require a colour matchprint, please advise us before we commence printing. This requirement is chargeable.
Premier Print UK are proud to say we only print with eco-friendly inks. These contain sustainable vegetable oil instead of mineral oil, and do not compromise the quality of our work. Whether you’re ordering business cards, flyers & leaflets or birthday cards, you can be rest assured that your high quality prints are contributing to the health of our environment.
Our Quality & Environmental Policy
The policy ensures that the documentation is appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities, products and services. Also, it includes a staff understanding of meeting both the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. It is our policy to manage our business in the most environmentally responsible manner, complying with the relevant environmental legislation and regulations. Our aim is to provide our customers with an on time and fault free reliable service. The management at Premier Print UK define our Quality and Environmental Policy, which is realised through the statements and procedures referenced throughout the company’s policy manual.
We are committed to continuous improvement and the prevention of pollution. As a registered waste carrier, we ensure all waste is disposed of adequately, recycling and exceeding our customer’s expectations wherever possible.
The management system provides a framework for the setting and reviewing of objectives and targets. This will help support our continuous improvement and ensure our system is developed. This policy is documented, implemented, maintained and communicated to all employees and subcontractors through regular training of our responsibilities. It is displayed in a prominent position within the organisation and in an area that is accessible by the public. It is reviewed regularly to ensure its continued suitability.
